Belt Drive

A belt drive or conveyor mechanism is a linear motion device. It converts rotary motion into linear motion. A conveyor consists of at least two rollers and a belt. One roller drives the other roller. These are known as the drive and idler roller. As the drive roller rotates the belt moves along a linear path.
