    Description

    ANR2(X) AnyNET-I/O LVDT/RVDT Signal Conditioner Networked I/O

AMCI’s AnyNET-I/O ANR2(X) LVDT/RVDT signal conditioner is the easiest, most flexible way to bring LVDT and/or RVDT sensor data into any PLC-based control system.

The two channel ANR2(X) product is a direct interface to most LVDT sensors, including three-wire, four-wire, five-wire, six-wire, and half-bridge LVDT sensors. Additionally, the ANR2(X) signal conditioner is compatible with RVDT sensors from most manufacturers. Plus, it programs using the host controller's (PLC) native software - nothing new to buy, nothing new to learn!

AMCI's ANR2(X) utilizes digital technology to simplify installation, streamline data transfer, and save money. Traditional LVDT/RVDT signal conditioners suffer from an "old fashioned" approach to system set-up and calibration. Their use of jumpers, potentiometers and/or front panel push buttons to calibrate an LVDT signal conditioner is effective but clumsy, and it penalizes the system's overall performance. AMCI's ANR2(X) digital technology gives you a hassle free setup that delivers laboratory precision without compromises.

AMCI’s ANR2(X) lets you specify the LVDT sensor’s exact excitation voltage and frequency with a few keystrokes in software. Additional commands make quick work of the alignment process. Simply enter your minimum and maximum span points and you are done! For more demanding applications, AMCI’s ANR2(X) also allows you to enter the sensor’s sensitivity and displacement, maximizing system accuracy and linearity throughout the entire measurement range.

Cost is always a consideration and AMCI's ANR2(X) was designed with budgets in mind. Today's LVDT/RVDT signal conditioners require an analog-to-digital converter (e.g. analog input module) to interface with a PLC. However, AMCI's ANR2(X) communicates LVDT/RVDT sensor data directly to the PLC using a standard network connection saving you time & money!

    Expansion Capabilities

AMCI's ANR2(X) expansion modules allow you to easily interface up to (12) LVDT/RVDT sensors using a single network connection, which reduces physical wiring and optimizes data traffic over the network.

Additional ANR2(X) features include: digital alignment (no potentiometers), master/slave mode, sensor set-up memory and an optional GUI software for user training & bench testing.

No other product rivals the flexibility, performance, and value of AMCI's ANR2(X) LVDT/RVDT Signal Conditioner...no matter what PLC or sensor you're using!

    PLC-Based Specialty I/O Solutions

AMCI’s AnyNET-I/O family is a distributed I/O system that combines hard to find specialty functions with a network interface, simplifying installation and cutting costs. The product family allows users to “mix & match” functions, including stepper motion
control and a variety of sensor interfaces, in a single solution.

AnyNET-I/O is compatible with any networked PLC/PAC and easily programs through the host PLC’s software.  Its innovative product design simplifies installation, optimizes network performance, and ensures system integrity.

    Multiple LVDT/RVDT Signal Conditioner: (1) ANR2(X) + (5) ANR2 shown below
The ANR2(X) easily expands from a 2-to-12 channel LVDT/RVDT Signal Conditioner by stacking additional interface modules alongside the “gateway”, and it only requires a single network connection for all communication. This innovative product design simplifies installation, optimizes network performance, and ensures system integrity. Please see the diagram below for details.
