The 1731-03 is the choice module for monitoring brake wear and crank angle on stamping presses. If your application calls for top stop control, look into the resolver based PLS 2731-33 module.
The latest PRESSPro module for PLC-5 is the 2762-17. This module controls a reversing motor's direction and speed to stop the motor within a determined range.
