Turning outputs on and off based on machine shaft position is a basic control principle in use today. However, PLCs cannot control these outputs accurately because of long and inconsistent scan times.
The solution: AMCI's 2900 Programmable Limit Switch Modules. These modules accept one resolver input for shaft position feedback and control outputs based on the resolver position, programmed on/off setpoints, and programmed speed compensation values, without processor intervention.
